Getting bigger y’all! My back hurts and my belly continues to feel as though it’s stretching stretching stretching. Needless to say, I’m uncomfortable. Just today, I took to sitting on an exercise ball instead of a chair. I believe it’s helping. We’ll see.
Last week, my department moved to a new building. It gave me a fancy new office, but all the packing and unpacking left this little pregnant body sore. I guess that prenatal massage needs to happen already. I’m such a slacker. I keep talking about it, and I haven’t gotten off my bum to make the appointment.
On the baby boy front, he’s the size of a zucchini or a rutabaga. Whatever vegetable or root he is, he’s big. I can feel him all over the place. He moves a bunch and Hubs can definitely see my belly moving.
I’m looking forward to being under the 100 day mark next week and 60 degree temperatures around these parts! Please bring dresses back into my life! Pretty please.
Remember when I told you all that I was moving from having a self-hosted blog back to a regular free WordPress.com blog, here?
Well, it turns out, I lied!
When the bill came in January. I didn’t pay it, moved all my content back to wordpress.org and paid to map my domain name back to wordpress.com.
Guess what I forgot to do?
I forgot to remove my credit card information from the self-hosted site’s information page. So for the last couple months, I’ve had a self-hosted account that I don’t use.
So… please bear with me while I transfer everything back to the self-hosted site and get the site back to acceptable.
Fun times, right?
Half way there! And I’m still able to find some of my regular clothes that fit. This dress only lasted for about a week longer after this photo though. Bring on the growth spurt!
Thanks to friend and amateur photographer, Rico for this great shot of Hubs and I on spring break in sunny San Diego at 22 weeks. Sun feels good! And this is when I started putting on a pound a day for several days!
Oh, but then I discovered that my stretchy Bailey 44 dress from Anthropologie easily stretched over my belly bump. I got so many comments from family about how much I had grown that I felt compelled to prove to them that it was all about the type of top I was wearing. The clingier the clothing, the more I looked like I had a belly. So the next day, I took this.
You be the judge. This shirt is looser, but it looks as though I filled out even MORE, doesn’t it? And I am usually lighter in the morning than at night. Looks like it’s only upwards on that scale for the next couple months, huh?
Month 5 has been pretty uncomfortable with the growth spurt, but I would definitely say it has been easy compared to some of the first months in the first trimester. Bring on Month 6!
