This week, I’m getting larger and baby boy is kicking up a storm.  I think I’ve been able to feel him move a lot more.  Some kicks are even a bit painful.  I’ve been working diligently on preparing for his arrival and doing lots of online ordering for items that are on sale.  I’ll share some of these purchases real soon.

Fun note, I spent some time on the Boston subway last weekend with my very visible baby bump, during a busy time.  Guess how many people got up to give me their seat?

ZERO!

Fun times, y’all.  Everyone wants to touch, stare, and ask questions… just about everything except give up their seat on the bus/train.  People can be so strange.

Hope everyone is staying in and safe today.  We’re in the Boston-area, home safe, with the TV on all day.  Stay safe.

26 Weeks Pregnant Belly Shot

I’m officially under 100 days left of pregnancy.  That is… if I go to 40 weeks.  Our midwife tells me that first time expectant mothers actually tend to reach their 41st week.  Now THAT is a bummer to hear in my current state of discomfort!

I also had my glucose test for gestational diabetes, the one hour test, and a blood test for anemia.  It made me feel absolutely disgusting and tired.  Our midwife said she would call us within 48 hours if I needed further testing.  Phone has remained silent.  Thank goodness!

And so we continue to inch forward toward the end of the semester and toward our due date.
